I didn’t like his flow on the first verse, and his vocals sounded pretty terrible too. What the fuck is happening right now? I’m a little bit passed the halfway point of this song, and I’m not really feelin’ it… The beat’s kinda cool, but that’s pretty much all I can say for this one. His voice sounded a little too squeeky at times, but for the most part I like this shit. There’s no way he’s smart enough to actually make his music correlate with the project’s title in any way. I’m pretty sure that’s a coincidence tho. I guess it’s possible that he did that on purpose… “ Slimy” was the first word that came to my head when I was trying to describe the way he sounded. Oh God… Okay, the first verse was goin’ really well at first the lyrics weren’t good, but he had a melodic delivery, and it was real catchy, but the way he ended it made me really uncomfortable… “ Bitches see us and smile like what it do.” There’s nothing wrong with the lyrics, but the way he said it just sounded really slimy and creepy. Maybe I’m just getting tired of Metro Boomin’s production. Honestly, London On Tha Track is a lot better than Metro Boomin’. I was a little worried at first because it seemed like he was using the same flow & melody that he used on Check, but once the beat dropped it got better. The song as a whole is just okay tho. 3/5 I don’t think I can call this a good song since I only really fuck with the hook, but I’m not gonna delete it. Honestly, I probably wouldn’t like this song if he didn’t have that Airhead line.

There weren’t even really any lines that stood out for being super dumb. The first verse obviously wasn’t anything special. The primary loop isn’t that interesting, but the beat still sounds pretty good when the bass comes in. I had “ SHE SUCK ON DA DICK ON DA PLANE AND I JUH CALL HER AIRHEEEEAAAADD” stuck in my head for about two weeks after I heard this song the first time. This song was premiered at Kanye’s Yeezy Season 3 fashion show. Don’t ask me why the fuck he didn’t just call it that in the first place. Apparently, in English the album is called HiTunes. That’s not some weird typo that I keep making. What? You don’t know what Hy!£UN35 is? Where have you been? Hy!£UN35 is the highly anticipated debut album from Young Thug. I think this is supposed to be the last project that he releases before Hy!£UN35. Also, when the hell is that Metro Thuggin’ project comin’ out? Is that still happening? Anyway, he did the same bullshit that he did with The Barter VI again he’s charging people money for this mixtape. It probably won’t be anytime soon, but it’s on the way. I obviously didn’t get around to checking any of those tapes out, but they’re ALL on my schedule, so it’ll happen eventually. After The Barter VI, Young Thug released Slime Season 1, Slime Season 2, and I’m Up.

I’m expecting this shit to be really wack, but I’m kind of excited for the songs that aren’t wack. I like Young Thug for the same reasons that I like Gucci Mane his lyrics are so bad that I like listening to his shit just to make fun of it, and he actually does have a knack for coming up with catchy melodies. I still listen to songs like With That & Old English all the time. I actually kinda like Young Thug now tho… Don’t get it twisted, I still know that he’s fucking God awful, but when he makes a song that isn’t complete dog shit, I can’t stop myself from listening to it. You’re probably wondering why I’m listening to this since the last time I reviewed a Young Thug project, it ended up getting a 38. It’s the third & final installment in Young Thug’s “ Slime Season” trilogy. This mixtape came out on March 25th this year.
